Hello to all of my current and future patients and parents! I am elated to be starting this new chapter in my life and my career. As a partner in the practice, I look forward to working with my three colleagues in our newest venture, Sprout Pediatrics. We have all worked together for years and are eager to start seeing patients at our new practice.
My practice philosophy
In my own words, “I am forever grateful for the opportunity to care for children, experience with parents the joy of watching their children grow and guide parents and patients medically and developmentally from birth through young adulthood.”
Professional accomplishments
I was born and raised in New Orleans and attended high school at Mount Carmel Academy, graduating in 2000. Following graduation, I moved to Baton Rouge to study Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University where I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science.
I returned to New Orleans to attend LSU School of Medicine. As a medical student I was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Upon medical school graduation in 2009, I was the recipient of the Stephen Osofsky Memorial Award by the Department of Pediatrics to recognize the outstanding Acting Intern in Pediatrics. I completed the LSUHSC-New Orleans Pediatric Residency Program in 2012 and have enjoyed a career in general outpatient pediatrics since that time. I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
My personal life
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Tim, and we have three sons, Thomas, Kenneth and Mack. I enjoy spending time with my extended family and friends as well as travelling. And, of course, I love watching the Saints in the dome on game days!
