I’m so happy you stopped by! My name is Dr. Gabrielle Glasgow and I’m one of the Pediatricians at Sprout Pediatrics. We are so excited to open our new office in July 2020.
Practice philosophy
I feel very grateful to be in the pediatric field and I think it is best explained by the John Trainer quote, “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.”
At Sprout Pediatrics your child is our priority. We have extended our hours to include Saturday appointments. We want to work with our parents to accommodate almost every schedule.
Professional accomplishments
I am a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I have been practicing in the New Orleans area for the past 8 years. I grew up in Kenner, LA and graduated from Dominican High School in 2000. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in 2004. Then, went on to get my medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2008. I completed my Pediatric residency at LSUHSC at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans in 2011, and then spent an extra year there in 2012 as chief resident.
My personal life
I am married to Chase Glasgow, and have three children, Cameron (7), Sydney (3), and Chad (1). In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, and college football!
I am so excited to begin this new chapter, together with my longtime colleagues, of opening our new practice, Sprout Pediatrics. I take true joy in watching my patients and their families grow.
