Dr. Glasgow is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been practicing in the New Orleans area for the past 8 years. She grew up in Kenner, LA and graduated from Dominican High School in 2000. She received her bachelor degree in biology from the University of Alabama in 2004 and her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2008. She completed her pediatric residency at LSUHSC at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans in 2011, and spent an extra year there in 2012 as chief resident.
She is married to Chase Glasgow, and has three children, Cameron (7), Sydney (3), and Chad (1). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and college football!
She is excited to begin a new chapter, together with her longtime colleagues, as one of the owners of Sprout Pediatrics. She takes true joy in watching her patients and their families grow. She feels very grateful to be in the pediatric field, best explained by the John Trainer quote, “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.”
Dr. Suzy Kingston
Dr. Suzy Kingston was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended high school at Mount Carmel Academy, graduating in 2000. Following graduation, she moved to Baton Rouge to study Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University where she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science. She returned to New Orleans to attend LSU School of Medicine. As a medical student she was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Upon medical school graduation in 2009, Dr. Kingston was the recipient of the Stephen Osofsky Memorial Award by the Department of Pediatrics to recognize the outstanding Acting Intern in Pediatrics. She completed the LSUHSC-New Orleans Pediatric Residency Program in 2012 and has enjoyed a career in general outpatient pediatrics since that time. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Kingston is married to her high school sweetheart, Tim, and has three sons, Thomas, Kenneth and Mack. She enjoys most of all spending time with her extended family and friends as well as travelling, sharing her husband’s passion of fishing with her boys and watching the Saints in the Dome on game days!
Dr. Kingston is excited to be starting a new chapter in her life and career at Sprout Pediatrics in the summer of 2020. As a partner in the practice, she looks forward to taking an active role in the business with three fellow colleagues who have years of experience working together. She is forever grateful for the opportunity to care for children, experience with parents the joy of watching their children grow and guide parents and patients medically and developmentally from birth through young adulthood.
Dr. Lauren Hernandez
Dr. Lauren Hernandez is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Hernandez grew up in Arabi, Louisiana near New Orleans. She graduated valedictorian from Ursuline Academy in 2002. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of New Orleans and her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2011.
In 2014, Dr. Hernandez completed her pediatric residency at LSUHSC New Orleans Children’s Hospital. She was awarded the The Stephen Osofsky Memorial Award in 2011for outstanding performance during the pediatric acting internship. She has been actively practicing pediatrics in the New Orleans area and has been consistently recognized as one of the top three pediatricians in the city for the past 5 years.
She is married to Jonathan Hernandez, high school teacher and basketball coach, and has three sons- Jax, Finn, and Emerson. Dr. Hernandez is an exercise enthusiast who enjoys biking with her family, vacationing at the beach, and keeping up with her three active boys.

Kendall Connick, NP
Kendall Connick grew up in Metairie, and graduated from Dominican High School in 2001. She received her bachelor degree from University of New Orleans in Biological Sciences in 2005. After graduating, she went on to teach at Dominican High School for 2 years. She received her bachelor of science in nursing degree at LSUHSC School of Nursing in May 2010, and her masters of science degree in nursing at LSUHSC in May 2015. She has been practicing as a family nurse practitioner in the New Orleans area since August 2015, specifically focusing on the pediatric population. She is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has been married to Jimmy Connick since June 2006, and they have two children, Cullen and Mary James. Kendall enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling and staying active. She is excited for this new chapter in her life and the opportunity to be one of the owners of Sprout Pediatrics with such an amazing group of pediatricians. She looks forward to watching each patient grow in health and wellness for years to come!
Lesley Jouandot, NP
Lesley Callaghan Jouandot grew up in River Ridge, and graduated with honors from St. Mary’s Dominican High School in 1997. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge followed by LSUHSC School of Nursing. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and chosen Outstanding Graduate of the Class of 2002. She started her career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Tulane Hospital for Children until 2007. Lesley worked in pediatric primary care in Metairie for over 20 years.
In 2021, Lesley graduated with honors from University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s graduate program with her Masters of Science in Nursing and chosen by the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society as Outstanding Graduate of 2021. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Society of Pediatric Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing, and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She shares her life with her husband of 21 years, Brent, as well as three children Zachary (18),Lucia (15), and Margo (11). Jouandot believes that caring and providing healthcare for children, as well as parents, involves education and compassion as each individual’s needs are varied and important for their future health success.
Dr. James Connick
Dr. James Connick was born in New Orleans and has lived here all his life. He graduated from Brother Martin High School in 2009 and then made his way to the Lakefront where he graduated magna cum laude from UNO in 2012 with a BS in biology. Dr. Connick attended medical school at LSU in New Orleans where he was selected as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. After graduating, he completed his residency with LSU at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, where he was awarded the LSUHSC Aesculapian Society Excellence in Teaching Award. After residency, he was selected to serve as chief resident of LSU pediatrics for the 2021-2022 academic year. Dr. Connick is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
He is married to Melissa Connick, a Speech Language Pathologist also from New Orleans, and together they have a daughter named Alma Sofia. They enjoy trying new restaurants and listening to live music.
He is thrilled to be joining Sprout Pediatrics because it gives him the opportunity to take care of the children of his hometown. He feels privileged to be included in his patients’ lives and enjoys working with their parents to help care for them.
