Genevieve Comfort, PA-C
Genevieve Comfort is another “born and bred” New Orleanian and graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in 2005. After high school, she attended Louisiana State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then continued on to earn her Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. She then went on to attend PA school at University of South Alabama where she received her Master of Science degree in PA studies in 2013. She is an active member of the American Academy of PAs and the Louisiana Academy of PAs. She has also been a Pediatric preceptor for both the LSU and Xavier school of medicine PA programs.
In her over 11 years of experience in Pediatrics, Genevieve maintains that being able to see the patients from birth until adolescence has been one of the greatest joys in her life and she sticks by the opinion that there are no patients that are as cool as kids!
She currently resides in Metairie with her husband Kevin, as well as their two boys Michael (7) and Jack (3). When she is not in clinic seeing patients, she is staying active by outside with the family, and playing tennis at City Park.
Genevieve is so excited for the opportunity to continue practicing Pediatric medicine at Sprout and in her time here so far, she has already started building close bonds with the families she cares for based on mutual love, respect, and trust.
